Meet Ms. Amburgey

¡Hola, parents! My name is Alison Amburgey, and I am so excited to have your child in class this year! Last year, I taught Kindergarten, and now I am happy to be in Third grade. I love teaching at Cole, which is close to home. I graduated from Lipscomb University in 2009. I like to travel to places like Honduras and Ghana. I learned how to speak Spanish, and like to practice whenever I can!  My goals are to learn other languages and to travel the world. I look forward to getting to know you and your child!

In Third Grade

Third Grade is an exciting challenge for your child. We will work hard, have a lot of fun, and learn many new and wonderful things. This year we will be learning about many new things that will make us more aware of the things around us. I hope that your child’s year in Third Grade is a fun and challenging year that will make us all grow.
